The German-American Club of the Carolinas is holding its 39th Annual Business Dinner at the University of South Carolina Upstate's Campus Life Center (Room CLC 310).

  • Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
  • Dinner starts at 7:00 p.m.
  • $15.00 for paid members.
  • $25.00 for non-members.

25th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall Celebration

We will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The Consul General of Atlanta, the Honorary Consul of South Carolina, and and possi- bly the Honorary Consul of North Carolina will be present at the event. Events will take place in the afternoon at USC Upstate’s “The George” building in Spartanburg.

TEASE: Transatlantic Exhibition of Art in the Southeast

In September, there will be an “Artists-Tour” in the Southeastern U.S. featuring four or five German artists who will display their paint- ings and sculptures. The tour will be in Spartanburg at The George, USC Upstate’s College of Business and Economics, on Saturday, September 13.

    • 2pm social gathering, 3pm service (for 2024 it’s 1 hour earlier than previous years)

    • Offertory will be donated to Backpack Buddies of St. John Lutheran and Red Cross

  • Anne Frank Exhibit: On display at Sandor Teszler Library (lower level), Wofford College, Spartanburg, SC, through November 19th, 2022.

  • International Festival: Has been canceled for this weekend due to Hurricane Ian and is rescheduled for October 15th with the new venue being the Memorial Auditorium.

  • Dicken’s of a Christmas: December 6th, 2022, 6:00 PM, Downtown Spartanburg
